ServiceNow Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: hybrid  (Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: 6 months

Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a ServiceNow Developer with experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions for IRM Processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

  • Customize and configure ServiceNow IRM module to meet business requirements.
  • Set up and manage integrations between ServiceNow IRM and other internal/external systems using various methods (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server).
  • Lead the development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow IRM module, including Policy and Compliance Management.
  • Design and build IRM workflows, scoring methodologies, entity scoping, and Risk Assessment Methodologies (RAM).
  • Implement best practices for testing and quality assurance to ensure that all solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow releases and IRM trends, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation within the platform.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the implementation and operation of the IRM solutions.
  • Ensure that all IRM solutions comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Develop and manage script objects like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Flows/Workflows.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience as a developer/analyst/solution designer
  • 5+ years of experience working with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Foundations
  • 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform with proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and workflow development
  • 5+ years of experience with APM concepts, including application rationalization and lifecycle management.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience working with Drive Value with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) 3.0 – CMDB and Service Graph
  • Experience working with CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
  • Financial industry experience
  • Experience working on integrations

Soft Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science
