JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)
Duration:  11 months

Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Processing Administrator for the execution of all activities related to cash processing and reconciliation operations in the market for all client segments. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

  • Execute operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processes.
  • Contribute to environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality within the department.
  • Achieve pre-set targets measuring service quality & effectiveness against appropriate benchmarks.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our service and value proposition for our clients.
  • Can identify where processing gaps occur and can perform other tasks as needed to help with coverage.
  • Identify and resolve reoccurring problems to ensure corrective actions and proper procedures are put in place.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Attention to details
  • Accuracy
  • Finance background.
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in Payment Operations
  • Candidate must be fluent with Microsoft office suite of products and be technologically independent

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Reconciliation and TLM experience
  • Knowledge of MILVUS, SWIFT, Express and BESS systems
  • In-depth knowledge of day to day Payments Processing procedures

Education:

  • College Degree; University Degree or undergraduate
