JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Hybrid(Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: Hybrid

Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide critical support and enhancement for our Global Asset Management (GAM) technology platforms .The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience with CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and culture
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
  • Proficiency in Python and/or other programming languages
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms: OpenShift, Azure, AWS, or similar
  • Experience with system architecture and troubleshooting complex technical issues
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks
  • Knowledge of Agentic AI concepts and implementations
  • Experience with Airflow, Dask, Spark
  • Background in financial services or regulated industries
  • Experience with secret management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)
  • Relevant certifications: GitHub Actions, CKA, CKAD, Azure DevOps Engineer, AI certifications
