JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)
Duration: 9 months
Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Senior Consultant, Talent Acquisition – Technology, to leverage recruitment matrices to craft business reports, presentations and leadership updates. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in role:
- Be passionate about finding the right talent for the right role, using various sourcing channels and leveraging a talent pipeline
- Deliver on diversity requirements through diversity focused events, community partnerships, networking and more
- Lead recruitment events (in-person / virtual) and drive talent marketing efforts
- Help your team and work with other areas of HR to ensure success and positive candidate experiences
- Thrive in a fast-paced change-driven work environment
- Stay curious, love to learn, and proactively seek opportunities for personal development
- Dedicate yourself to building strategic relationships with hiring managers while ensuring exceptional service and diligence
- Achieve goals/targets gives you a great deal of intrinsic satisfaction
Must-Have Skills:
- 8 Years of experience hiring for niche technology roles including but not limited to Software Engineers, Architects, Cloud Engineers, Test Automation Engineers, Agile etc.,
- Hands-on headhunting and innovative sourcing skills to scout the market for strong tech candidates via tech platforms, professional media networks, events, resume mining and more
- Knowledge and hands-on expertise in leveraging data for TA analytics, compliance and data-driven TA delivery, with attention to detail
- Experience in behavioral interviewing techniques, strong business acumen and advising on hiring decisions
- Progressive recruitment experience, leading initiatives and building recruitment strategies
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Success Factor is an asset.
- Bilingual communication skills in French and/or Spanish

- The ability to build strategic relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Diversity focused mindset combined with strategic recruitment capabilities for equity deserving groups
- Market intelligence on latest in the talent and tech market with effective consulting capabilities
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with candidates and colleagues of all levels in the organization.
- Conducts oneself in a highly professional manner and operates with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high priority requests simultaneously.
- Ability to work well as a team player and independently; proactive and flexible; adaptable to change and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple shifting priorities.
- Excellent organizational/time-management skills to manage the volume of executive search.
- Provides recommendations for improvement/streamlining work as needed.
Education:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma.
