Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst- MFA to Conduct business analysis to determine impacted stakeholders and requirements that address the root causes and bring value to the bank. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in role:
- Document requirements that are feasible, clear, correct, and unambiguous.
- Perform current and future state analysis and document workflow diagrams.
- Partner with technology stakeholders to develop, assess and validate that the solutions meet the requirements.
- Distribute questionnaires to impacted stakeholders and perform data analysis on their responses.
- Proactively contact all unregistered app owners to inform them of the requirement to register for second factor authentication.
- Coordinate with app owners to assist in follow-ups and encourage participation.
- Triage and track app owners’ responses to questionnaires.
- Regularly update a central tracker or dashboard to monitor registration rates and identify bottlenecks.
- Report regularly on the number of registered applications, the remaining unregistered applications, and estimated timelines for completion.
- Be familiar with both WHFB and the Windows Authenticator app to provide technical assistance.
- Offer one-on-one support for users who experience challenges during the registration process.
- Escalate systemic issues or technical barriers to the appropriate IT team or stakeholders.
- Provide weekly progress updates to leadership and relevant teams, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.
Must-Have Skills:
- 10 + years’ experience as a Business Analyst partnering with business and technology stakeholders.
- 5 + years’ experience in multi-factor authentication (MFA) concepts and security
- 5+ years’ experience with Windows Hello for Business (WHFB) and Microsoft Authenticator
- 5 + years of experience in creating dashboards or trackers for progress monitoring.
- 5+ years’ experience in documenting swim lane diagrams.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experienced in triaging and managing issues.
- Experienced in Identity Access Management.
- Proficiency in Excel or similar tools for tracking user responses and generating reports.
Soft Skills Required:
- Advanced communication skills(verbal/written/presentation) skills to convey ideas and information to business and technology partners.
- Skilled in engaging with managers and end-users to drive adoption.
- Able to adjust to changing priorities and environments.
- Able to organize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Analytic and inquisitive.
Education:
- University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or Cybersecurity Space.
