JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Hybrid | Downtown, Toronto

Duration: 12 months

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Repo Collateral Analyst to track and report daily Repo Margin call metrics (number/ value of calls, disputes, fails). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

  • Facilitate repo margin calls for DSIN and RBCT entities, resolve any trade flow breaks between Apex and ADP
  • Monitor exposure and execute margin calls for single entity margin counterparts as well as central book counterparts
  • Track interest and facilitate monthly payment for all margin counterparts
  • Ensure all deals at the triparty are covered and keep front office informed of excess/shortfall
  • Monitor liquidity forecasting throughout the day to ensure coverage for unwind and escalate intraday funding where necessary
  • Escalate and resolve any margin disputes with assistance of repo desk in a timely manner
  • Report all unresolved margin disputes > 1MM to GRM Credit Risk team
  • Track and report daily Repo Margin call metrics (number/ value of calls, disputes, fails)
  • Provide vacation/back up coverage for fellow team members

Must Have Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • APEX
  • ADP
