JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Hybrid | Downtown, Toronto
Duration: 12 months
Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Repo Collateral Analyst to track and report daily Repo Margin call metrics (number/ value of calls, disputes, fails). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in role:
- Facilitate repo margin calls for DSIN and RBCT entities, resolve any trade flow breaks between Apex and ADP
- Monitor exposure and execute margin calls for single entity margin counterparts as well as central book counterparts
- Track interest and facilitate monthly payment for all margin counterparts
- Ensure all deals at the triparty are covered and keep front office informed of excess/shortfall
- Monitor liquidity forecasting throughout the day to ensure coverage for unwind and escalate intraday funding where necessary
- Escalate and resolve any margin disputes with assistance of repo desk in a timely manner
- Report all unresolved margin disputes > 1MM to GRM Credit Risk team
- Track and report daily Repo Margin call metrics (number/ value of calls, disputes, fails)
- Provide vacation/back up coverage for fellow team members
Must Have Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience
