JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: 12 months

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for an Onboarding Coordinator to manage the onboarding checklist and timelines for all incoming employees. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure onboarding tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Prepare and configure company laptops for new hires.
  • Submit and track requests for system, application, and network access.
  • Monitor upcoming start dates and proactively address any readiness gaps.
  • Follow up on outstanding access requests to prevent onboarding delays.
  • Develop and maintain a welcome-day playbook for managers, including logistics templates, communication guidelines, and best practices

Must-Have Skills:

  • 1-2 years relevant customer support or office, on-boarding, IT coordination experience;
  • Keen interest in logistics, employee engagement, employee experience;
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Recent graduate in business administration, business management or relevant experience
