JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: 12 months

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a  Manager, Third Party Risk Quality Assurance to identify gaps and implement enhancements with current processes and procedures .The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

This role will primarily conduct quality assurance reviews on third-party monitoring activities and artifacts such as:

o  Supplier Risk Assessments

o  Exit Strategies

o  Performance Management Questionnaires

o  Supplier Manager Attestations

o  Termination Assessments

Manage or support projects related to supplier risk management activities.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of vendor management, managing vendor contracts and service levels and monitoring vendor performance
  • Minimum of 2 years working knowledge of third-party risk management processes and methodologies
  • Minimum of 2 years working knowledge of quality assurance reviews or controls testing

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Industry-recognized third-party risk management or vendor management certification (e.g., CTPRP Certification, Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, Certificate of Professional Learning in Risk Management)

  • Ability to research information, problem solve, and make solid business decisions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment and be able to multitask and handle voluminous workflow, work under tight deadlines, balance multiple, detailed tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
