JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Onsite (Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: Permanent Full Time

FP Inc. is looking for a Junior Recruiter to assist in sourcing and recruiting skilled technology professionals across a range of IT roles.

Typical Day in role:

  • AI-Driven Sourcing: Utilize AI recruitment platforms, smart search tools, and automation to identify and engage qualified candidates efficiently.
  • Social Recruiting: Leverage LinkedIn, Indeed, and social media channels to source and connect with top talent.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Screening: Actively identify candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and AI tools; review resumes and conduct initial screening.
  • Temporary & Permanent Placement: Support both contract/temporary staffing and permanent recruitment initiatives for clients.
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS): Maintain accurate, updated candidate records in the ATS, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Corporate Recruiting: Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide tailored sourcing support.
  • HR Collaboration: Work with HR and recruitment colleagues to ensure compliance, reporting, and best practices in talent acquisition.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 6 months – 1 year of recruitment, HR-related, or customer service experience (internships and co-ops considered).
  • Strong interest in IT, business professional and admin recruitment. 
  • Familiarity with AI recruitment tools, sourcing technologies, and ATS platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
