JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Hybrid | Boston, Massachusetts 

Contract

Typical Day in role:

Enterprise Security Architecture

  • Define and maintain the enterprise-wide cybersecurity architecture strategy.
  • Develop and implement security architecture frameworks, standards, and design principles.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology strategies, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Provide architectural guidance for enterprise security initiatives and technology implementations.
  • Evaluate current security architectures and recommend improvements to enhance resilience and scalability.

Zero Trust Initiatives

  • Lead the design and implementation of Zero Trust security frameworks and strategies.
  • Develop architecture models supporting identity-centric and least-privilege access controls.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to integrate Zero Trust principles across enterprise environments.
  • Establish security controls and policies aligned with Zero Trust methodologies.

Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)

  • Design and develop Post-Quantum Cryptography strategies to address emerging cryptographic risks.
  • Assess existing cryptographic implementations and identify areas requiring modernization.
  • Develop migration strategies for transitioning to quantum-resistant cryptographic standards.
  • Monitor advancements in quantum computing and evaluate their impact on enterprise security architecture.

AI-Driven Threat Detection

  • Lead the deployment and integration of AI-driven threat detection and security monitoring solutions.
  • Design architectures that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning for proactive threat identification.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity operations teams to improve threat detection capabilities and response effectiveness.
  • Evaluate emerging AI-based cybersecurity technologies and recommend adoption strategies where appropriate.

Security Governance & Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional technology and security teams to ensure consistent implementation of security architecture standards.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity architecture and emerging security technologies.
  • Support enterprise security transformation initiatives and strategic cybersecurity programs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of enterprise security capabilities and risk mitigation strategies. 

Must Have Skills:

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture and enterprise security strategy development.
  • Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles and implementation methodologies.
  • Experience designing or supporting Post-Quantum Cryptography strategies and modern cryptographic frameworks.
  • Experience implementing or integrating AI-driven threat detection and security monitoring solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture concepts and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and assess enterprise security risks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities. 

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience leading enterprise-scale cybersecurity transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with modern security frameworks and architectural methodologies.
  • Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity trends, quantum computing impacts, and AI-based security technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technology, infrastructure, and security teams.
