JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: 6 months

Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Documentation Analyst – Capital Markets to conduct reviews of client documentation/information obtained by client contacts within the business units. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

  • Ensures that information obtained is consistent with BSA/AML policy and procedures and satisfies regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of client documentation and information provided by business units to ensure alignment with BSA/AML policies.
  • Verify that all obtained client data satisfies internal regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage time-sensitive documentation projects within a fast-paced Capital Markets environment.
  • Liaise with Sales and Trading teams to resolve documentation discrepancies and ensure seamless client onboarding processes.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy in data management using advanced Excel functions

Must-Have Skills:

  • 2+ years of recent and relevant experience
  • Prior experience with deadlines for time-sensitive projects
  • Prior experience in financial services
  • Prior experience in documentation management
  • Derivatives product experience is beneficial
  • Experience in Capital Markets beneficial
  • Understanding of Capital Markets – FX, Cash and Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Futures, Commodities and Rates Derivatives        

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Fluency in French (written and verbal).
  • Specific experience with Derivatives or Capital Markets products.

  • Highest education
