JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Hybrid(Downtown, Toronto)
Duration: 6 months
Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Campaign Designer/ Developer – Python, Base SAS, GCP to design and integrate customer decisioning, segmentations and recommendation/decision logic to help elevate our customer’s experiences across channels and move to a personalized 1:1 customer journey .The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in role:
- Synthesize data across multiple platforms to identify trends and deliver key insights and business recommendations around a customer-first approach to driving engagement and results across our marketing channels and campaigns, to then bringing these recommendations to market through execution and measurement
- Act as an analytics generalist, provide subject matter expertise on customer contact, advanced analytics, data driven design and segmentation and the use of statistical analysis and machine learning to deliver customer communication
- Ability to implement and validate new processes by designing, developing and testing the process or design and executing improvements.
- Supporting key information technology initiatives, such as enhancements in the single view of customer, customer data warehouse, CRM and campaign management tools
- Tech stack: Python; SQL; Base SAS; GCP, BigQuery.
Must-Have Skills:
- 4+ years of Campaign Designer, Campaign Developer related experience needed, within a banking or retail industry
- 4+ years of development experience with Python
- 4+ years of strong experience with Base SAS for campaign development and process development
- 2+ years of recent experience with GCP and Workstation is critical for the role.
- 4+ years experience, Campaign design and delivery experience (experimental design, target/control, statistical significance, etc)
- 4+ years experience with relational databases and solid SQL skills (SQL Server, DB2, MySQL)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Cloud computing experience
- Analytical background with a quantitative focus, such as statistics, applied mathematics, economics, and computer science
- Data management experience
Soft Skills Required:
- Strong business acumen: understanding of business and financial models and ability to link communication tactics to strategic objectives from a financial perspective
- Self-motivated, strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, a high aptitude for problem solving and a natural interest in understanding customer behavior
- Detail oriented with emphasis on quality and accuracy
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical fields
- Any certifications with GCP
