JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)
Duration: 6 months (Possible extension)

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Personalization Technology Solution Architect to play a crucial role in driving end-to-end solutions across all aspects of personalization, with a strong emphasis on data scalability and customer journey (acquisition, onboarding and beyond). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

  • Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end technology solutions within the personalization technology domain, focusing on scalability and the customer experience across all touchpoints (digital/authenticated, offline/assisted)
  • Provide scalable, reliable, and secure system integration solutions, simplifying the technology landscape to achieve efficiency gains in cost, revenue, and resources, while ensuring that business value is delivered uncompromised
  • Contribute to the creation of conceptual and component-level architectures, ensuring systems meet expected performance metrics and incorporate robust observability
  • Support data architecture needs to integrate data across multiple platforms similar to Salesforce Data Cloud, Twilio, SAP Customer Data Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe (RT-CDP, AEP) MS Dynamics 365 Customer, and Dynamic Yield
  • Develop a comprehensive data strategy including measurement/reporting, identity management and resolution, to ensure data pipeline aligns with stakeholder priorities
  • Act as a liaison, collaborating with enterprise/GTMTech/martech architects, business architects, product owners, technical analysts, and developers to facilitate effective communication
  • Conduct technical demonstrations and prepare documentation, including specifications and solution architecture
  • Enhance digital data layers and implement technical tagging for web and mobile platforms, ensuring robust data collection processes are established
  • Participate actively in QA and deployment processes, particularly within Agile frameworks, to ensure successful implementation

Must-Have Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, integration, API management, and cross-platform Proficiency in data and application integration patterns, including Domain-Driven Design, APIs, messaging, and both synchronous and asynchronous communication
  • Over 5 years of direct hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and hands-on implementation of integrated personalization ecosystems using SaaS platforms. Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and others is essential
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Activation with a strong understanding of marketing technologies, digital analytics, customer data platforms, and cross-channel marketing implementations
  • Experience collaborating on architecture activities, including designing roadmaps and proof-of-concepts. A commitment to continuously researching current and emerging technologies will help propose necessary changes
  • Strong understanding of analytics implementation across digital platforms, with experience in tools like Google Analytics 4 and BI dashboard tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)

  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and work closely with external vendors
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
  • Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high-scale project

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
  • Adobe Experience Platform Certification Overview
  • Adobe Real-Time CDP Certification Overview
  • Marketing Cloud Certification
  • Data Cloud Consultant.
