JOB DESCRIPTION

Location:On-site (Montreal, Quebec)
Duration: 3 Months

Our client, a leading financial institution in Montreal, Quebec is looking for an Operations Officer to operate a computer terminal to verify, enter, retrieve and edit data. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

  • Print and sing documents, data processing, doc vetting, profile verifications, etc. 
  • Read source documents such as cancelled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
  • Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors
  • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Knowledge of French and English : written and verbal for both  

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience and/or knowledge in mortgages

Education:

  • High School Diploma
