Operation Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Hybrid | North York

Duration: 6 months

Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Operation Officer to prepare drafts, wires, mail returns, BDA close accounts, IRIS worklist, Generic inbox worklist. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

  • Read source documents such as cancelled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
  • Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors
  • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work

Must-Have Skills:

  • Fluent in English
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
  • Ability to enter data 7000+ key strokes per hour
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word
  • Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test
