JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Fully in office (North York, ON)
Duration: 6 months
Our client, a leading financial institution in North York, ON is looking for an Associate, Operations to perform clerical duties that are assigned in accordance with the office procedures of the work site and may include a combination of answering phone calls, bookkeeping, word processing, office machine operation, and filing, etc. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in role:
- Verify documents, verify accounts, initiate requests, deposit funds, and make outbound phone calls
- Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints
- Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages
- Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities
- Compute, record and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems
Must-Have Skills:
- Office experience
- Data entry experience
- Experience on the phone
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Account transfers experience
- Industry experience and business function knowledge
Education:
- High School Diploma
