Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for an Administrative Assistant – Advanced to focus on the daily processes relating to FX journal postings in the Trust Custody system. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in role:
In this FX Operations role, the candidate will work with the FX pre-execution operational team and will be assigned to focus on the daily processes relating to FX journal postings in the Trust Custody system. Daily tasks will also include validation and reconciliation of entries against the report, investigation pertaining to FX-related journal entries and completion of daily End of Day checklist.
Must-Have Skills:
- MS (Excel, Access, User Interface, Outlook) -Proficient
- Minimum 2 years related Market Services Operations experience
- FX background
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Solid knowledge of FX Operations specifically for FWDs, SPOTS and Swaps and market practices with particular emphasis on operational processes for such transactions.
Soft Skills Required:
