Our client a leading financial institution in Minneapolis, US, is looking for a Campus Recruiter to manage full lifecycle recruitment for entry-level and internship roles, including creating and hosting virtual & in-person events, executing targeted sourcing efforts through platforms like Handshake & WorkDay. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in role:
Developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract & recruit a high quality, diverse applicant pool for US Wealth Management
- Manage interview scheduling process for all student and new grad roles
- Manage end to end offer creation, background check and on-boarding process for US WM interns
- Support resume review and credentials for suitability of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements using appropriate selection techniques
- Occasionally conduct preliminary phone interviews/pre-screens with selected candidates to further validate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Help build relationships with external organizations and schools through networking and special events.
- Foster relationships with students throughout the year to support hiring initiatives.
Engagement & Events Support:
- Support planning, execution and attendance of on-campus and internal events i.e. Orientation, Coffee Chats, Conferences, Information Sessions and Networking events at School / MN Office
- Support the team with the creation of presentation materials and on-campus swag and lead or participate in special projects as required.
- Engage in digital networking; connect with students via one-on-one chats/group chats to connect with students to positively impact the student experience.
- Regularly participate in activity on bank’s Connect, LinkedIn, Student / intern focused in-person or virtual sessions etc. with a focus on bank campus branding and promotion.
- Management of ad-hoc administrative duties i.e. ordering of office equipment and supplies for events, management of on-campus swag materials, and inventory tracking etc.
Analytics and Reporting
- Assist the recruitment team with the tracking of all campus recruitment data using WD / Phenom
Must-Have Skills:
- 2-3 years of recruitment and/ HR experience. Early career campus recruiting experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage high-volume recruitment administrative duties coupled with a busy event schedule during peak recruitment cycles
- A keen interest in recruitment and building a career in Human Resources
- Must be able to work from the office 4 days per week
- Workday/ other ATS experience
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Event planning skills and experience an asset

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a dynamic environment
Education:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or related discipline
