Talent Acquisition Sr. Governance Analyst

Location: Hybrid |Bedford, NS

Duration: 12 months

Our client a leading financial institution in Bedford, NS, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Sr. Governance Analyst to analyze & reconcile internal supplier management lists, systems & platforms (Archer, Beeline, Connect, Ivalua, Workday, etc.) to ensure appropriate active supplier alignment across all platforms. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Sr. Governance Specialist position is responsible for general analytical and attestation procedures supporting governance functions for bank’s Talent Acquisition teams in the areas of permanent recruiting and contingent sourcing. This position will have a key focus on supplier risk and third-party management activities and will work closely with TA teams, senior leaders and internal partners to ensure adherence to governance functions. This position is key in ensuring risk mitigation and compliance for bank’s Talent Acquisition functions.

 

  • Responsible for supplier risk and third-party activities including, but not limited to supplier on/off-boarding, supplier assessments, questionnaires, assisting with contracts, monitoring, reporting, process development, advising and educating stakeholders & suppliers on third-party risk management requirements.  
  • Supplier activity and performance monitoring to ensure suppliers are meeting business needs.
  • Collaborate with TA teams to support other governance initiatives as applicable to ensure appropriate execution of governance related processes.
  • Establish strong working relationships across business units and internal partners (Procurement, Supplier Management Offices, Third-Party Risk, etc.). Collaborate with internal partners to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into procedures and processes.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience as an analyst, preferably in the governance space
  • Strong understanding of risk governance
  • Experience in project management
  • Analytical mindset
  • Exposure to contract execution
  • MS Office Suite

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Procurement experience a plus
  • Gathering internal and external feedback to identify potential improvements
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to recommend solid solutions
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience working with a financial institution
