JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)
Duration: 6 months
Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Project Manager – Finance, Capital Market, to coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in role:
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Building up technology cost estimates and finance cost estimates
- May delegate duties and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
- Communicating with different stakeholders to build out the business case
- Working on steering committee (executives) and operating committee
Must-Have Skills:
- 10+ years of experience working as a PM
- 1+ years of experience within Finance Capital Markets
- Experience with Microsoft Suite apps (Excel, Visio, PPT)
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experience with Clarity
- MS Project
- PMP Certification
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification
- Previous cross-functional business line experience (Wealth, international banking, etc.)
- CPA/MBA/CFA

Education:
- Post-Secondary Degree in Business Management or related fields
