Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Supplier Management, Corporate Real Estate to lead the ongoing management of CRE’s Service Partners globally by bank Supplier Management & Governance Framework, ensuring compliance with bank policies and third-party regulations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Supplier and Contract Management will back fill a maternity leave position and lead the ongoing management of Corporate Real Estate’s (CRE) outsourced Service Partners on a global basis to ensure overall operational effectiveness of the relationship(s), quality service delivery, prudent risk management, and compliance with Bank policies and third-party regulations, in keeping with Bank’s overall Supplier Management Framework.

 

What will you do?

  • Management of contract deliverables – ensure timely reporting, KPI adherence, validation of content, and periodic audit to verify completion.
  • Act as CRE Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Supplier Management and provide leadership and training to key CRE Regional Service Area Leads and CRE’s Service Partners on their roles and responsibilities related to Supplier Management and ensure activities are completed according to the Supplier Management Framework, policies, and processes
  • Lead to ensure resolution of all supplier-related audit or operational risk issues by an appropriate CRE team member or supplier
  • Partner with CoEs and Regional Leads to implement Project Summit and establish and maintain productive and collaborative relationships, networks, and ongoing communication with internal and external sources and colleagues to ensure alignment and deliver results
  • Identify areas of opportunity through review and /or analysis of industry and suppliers, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assist CRE Service Lines with issues and escalations relating to Service Partner performance

Must-Have Skills:

  • At least 7 years of Corporate Real Estate, Supplier Management and/or Contract Management experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Superior Relationship Management skills
  • Superior Negotiation and Influencing decisions skills
  • Proficiency in writing and reviewing contracts
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills and financial acumen

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Previous exposure to regulations (OSFI, CCA and other legislative requirements) and Bank policies related to CRE and our Suppliers
  • Paralegal experience
  • Experience in risk identification and mitigation
  • Experience in the Financial Industry
